If you haven’t seen The Jeremy Kyle Show then we’re the last people to encourage that you do, so allow us to describe it instead. It’s basically a daytime “chat” show where people with problems are “helped” to “work through” their difficulties by said Jeremy Kyle. We have used lots of quotes in that description because Mr Kyle’s show has been accused of doing more harm than good (by one Judge Alan Burg, no less) but in terms of daytime television popularity it is certainly successful, and it has been compared with the Jerry Springer show in the US.
Popularity means viewers, and Foxy wasn’t about to miss out on getting his purple-suited self in front of a captive audience, so Foxy Bingo now sponsors The Jeremy Kyle Show. He doesn’t appear on the show itself, you understand (though that would certainly be interesting considering the aforementioned adverts) but appears in clips before and after each commercial break. In one clip he plays the drums in his living room. In another he tells a very short story about an encounter with a snake, and he does so in his own bingo lingo, with the corresponding numbers appearing on the screen.
