In 2008, Foxy took to the streets again. However, this time he isn’t loitering around ladies hair salons. Instead, he walks around town like the Pied Piper of Hamelin. The main difference is that he doesn’t play a pipe, he simply brandishes his walking stick like a purple-suited majorette. The other difference is that he isn’t followed by rats, but by women of all shapes, sizes and ages. At one point a rather vintage lady whips off her bloomers and throws them in Foxy’s face. He takes this in his stride (it probably happens all the time) and moves on, the throng getting bigger and bigger as he leads his devotees to a house party. Bizarrely, he then walks away from the party, leaving the ladies to enjoy themselves in his absence.

All of this is set to the song “We are family” by Sister Sledge, which gives the idea that Foxy Bingo players are one big happy family. Some of the members just happen to like to wave their bloomers in the air at the first available opportunity...
